FMC manufactures high quality grades of equilibrium solutions peracetic acid delivery system
of peracetic acid at 5%, 15%, and 35%. End uses for the products
are varied and include chemical synthesis, bleaching, and microbial control applications such as sanitization, disinfection, and sterilization. Additionally, FMC supplies a unique foaming additive, HRS™, for use with its peracetic product lines for cleaning and sanitization of food processing equipment.
FMC holds EPA registrations for several peracetic acid formulations under the trade names of Blitz™, Clarity™, F&V, Peradigm™, Spectrum™ and VigorOx®.
FMC supports its microbial control business with a complete Commercial Technology Group that encompasses the skills of biologists, biochemists, chemists, chemical engineers, regulatory affairs, and chemical system field fabricators and technicians. This group includes a state-of-the-art microbiology lab and experienced personnel.
Our Technical Services and Engineering Department (TSED) provides engineered delivery systems for the microbial control products and can assist with the installation, function testing, and in conjunction with the microbiology lab, work to start-up and line out the integration between the delivery systems and the production process with our customers. The microbiology lab will assist in providing validation data with your process for regulatory purposes. TSED additionally supports the equipment in the field once it is put in operation with instructions and repairs, either directly or indirectly.
Our Regulatory Affairs official ensures that the product being applied is appropriate to the intended task and provides guidance to the business as new products and applications are developed and submitted to various government agencies for approval.
Additionally, FMC provides to its customers product support in the form of educational tools, product safety training, process safety support, and direct contact with a knowledgeable expert in the TSED group. This team is led by senior level engineers and installer technicians with extensive and varied industrial experiences that support our customers.
