This report summarizes field observations, analytical results for soil cores and "crust" analyses on soil cores collected approximately 60 days after treatment. In addition, it presents the data associated with the Variance requirements associated with the use of the material.
ISGS® Technology Chlorinated Solvents PAHsSurfactant-enhanced ISCO was successfully implemented at a site in Queens, NY contaminated with coal tar repurposed from a nearby MGP in a roofing manufacturing process. This process destroyed >90% of total targeted contaminants achieving the groundwater clean up objective.
Klozur® SP BTEX Petroleum HydrocarbonsXDD designed and implemented full-scale treatment of VOC’s and PAH’s using Alkaline Activated Klozur SP at the Mattoon Former Manufactured Gas Plant (MGP). XDD used a combination of permanent injection wells installed along with temporary direct push injection wells to implement the ISCO treatment.
Klozur® SP BTEX PAHsAs featured in Journal of Environmental Monitoring, following a laboratory evaluation confirming treatability, EHC Reagent was injected via direct push at a hot-spot area for treatment of carbon tetrachloride (CT) in groundwater. Application of a liquid EHC formulation, composed of ferrous iron and a liquid organic carbon source, was also completed into the vadose zone.
